Church Ball

KAJ says - I have never realized before that church ball can be so evil and dangerous. You'd think that it would be harmless because it's "church" ball and everyone is supposed to be nice and have good sportsmanship and it's great because of this and that and yada yada yada... But it's not! No siree!


Yesterday was our first game in the Regionals and we got beat to a pulp! The other team would NOT back down on us even when they and us knew they would win and when there was like two minutes left in the game. They were so rough that one of our girls scraped up her knee pretty bad and another had to have her left arm put in a sling because she had bruised it so bad that the whole arm went limp.


Then we had to have another game today to determine whether or not we could go on, and it was worse! The score was 10 to 39 compared with yesterdays, which was 19 to 39. They kept shoving us around and they had two players who weren't even supposed to be on their team because they were on a High School team. And that was just plain out stupid because they wouldn't let 4 of our players play but theirs could!!! Everyones face on our team was tomato red and panting and we got more scrapes and we were all tired. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!


Well atleast we won't have to worry about it anymore because now we're out of it, but it still pissed me off that they did that. And their sportsmanship was terrible. When we went to slap hands one of our girls was smiling and saying good job to them and everything and one of the girls who was on the school team just like glared and said thanks in a rough voice even though they FRICKIN' KICKED OUR BUTTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oy people make me mad...
