Since Pres. Hinckley passed away the 1st presidency dissolved and the leadership of the Church has been with the Twelve Apostles. Today Thomas S. Monson (Pres. Hinckley's former 1st counselor) was named as the 16th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Henry B. Eyring was called as his 1st counselor with President Dieter F. Uchtdorf as 2nd counselor.
